Regression to past lives
If you believe in this, read on, if not, feel free to scroll on. The effects of a past life may manifest in your current life in different ways, but it should serve as a tool, not an excuse. Within our subconscious lie the memories of past lives. Although we rarely remember living these past lives, the experiences we had during those lives have played a role in shaping who we are today.
The effects of a past life
Some people have an inexplicable fear of drowning or fire, for example. It may be that this is related to a past life.
The effects of a past life can manifest in later lives in a variety of ways - phobias, self-limiting beliefs, physical problems or innate creative abilities. Violence, death and trauma in a past life may manifest as fear, uncontrollable anger or low self-esteem in this life, while positive experiences from an earlier stage of life may cause you to feel strongly attracted to certain people, places or objects without know why.
Regression therapy
Many people turn to regression therapists to relive their past lives. Past life regression allows you to recall the memories and emotions of a past life that still influence your current reality. You may not even know that these experiences still influence you today. Regression therapy offers you a unique opportunity to reconnect with these memories so you can understand them and free yourself. I am not a specialist in past life regression myself, but it certainly interests me and I would like to do it with someone one day!
Get started yourself
To discover more about your past lives, consider keeping a notebook where you can write down anything that could be a memory from another life. You may also be drawn to a certain period in history, a seemingly unfamiliar location, or a new person you've met that feels strangely familiar. Choose a time and a place where you can relax. Imagine your body being filled with healing white light. Remember that nothing you see or hear will harm you. Ask yourself what you hope to achieve with regression and connect to your inner vision. Observe what you see without judgment.
When you're done, think about how what you experienced relates to your current life. There may be beliefs from a past life that you are still operating under, but are now ready to let go. The meaning of your past life memory may not be immediately apparent, but may emerge much later. You can make the most of your past lives by learning from them. While past life regression can be an exciting journey, it does not replace living in the present, where we are needed most here and now.
Will you let me know if you discovered anything?! I would love that!
Love,
Marga
